Coming soon: webhooks and real-time notifications
We're preparing a webhook system to notify you in real time of status changes for the companies you monitor.
In brief
Company Belgium is preparing a webhook system to notify you in real time of status changes, address changes or name changes for Belgian companies you monitor. Available in closed beta from April 2026, generally available in May 2026 — to automate your risk management, CRM updates and compliance workflows.
Webhooks are coming!
We're working on a highly requested feature: webhooks to receive real-time notifications when a company you monitor changes status.
How will it work?
1. Register a webhook
You'll be able to register a webhook with desired events and companies.
2. Receive notifications
Your endpoint will receive a POST request with the change details.
Planned events
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| company.status_changed | Status change |
| company.address_changed | Address change |
| company.name_changed | Name change |
| company.peppol_registered | Peppol registration |
Use cases
- Risk management: alerts when a supplier enters liquidation — a natural complement to monitoring company changes with BCE alerts
- Compliance: tracking address changes for your partners — useful for automated KYC verification
- CRM: automatic update of client records — feed them into your commercial pipeline with BCE data
Estimated timeline
- April 2026: closed beta
- May 2026: general availability
Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified of the launch! In the meantime, explore our BCE alerts for company arrivals and departures and the API v1 updates of March 2026.
Frequently asked questions
How will the Company Belgium BCE/KBO API webhooks work?
You register a callback URL and the desired events (status change, address change, name change, Peppol registration) for a list of BCE company numbers. When an event occurs, Company Belgium sends a POST to your URL with change details in signed, timestamped JSON format. On failure, a retry mechanism with back-off is planned.
What Belgian company events can be monitored with Company Belgium webhooks?
Five events are planned at launch: status change (active, ceased, in judicial reorganisation), registered office address change, name change, NACE code modification and Peppol network registration. This list will grow based on beta user feedback.
When will Company Belgium webhooks be available and how do I join the beta?
The closed beta is planned for April 2026 for existing users, with general availability in May 2026. To be notified first, subscribe to the Company Belgium newsletter from your account. Beta users will have access to full technical documentation and dedicated support.
Are BCE webhooks useful for AML/KYC compliance in Belgium?
Yes, webhooks let you automatically detect state changes in a client or partner subject to AML due diligence: going into liquidation, address change, name change. These events can trigger a KYC file review in your system, which is particularly useful for professions subject to the Belgian Act of 18/09/2017 on anti-money laundering.
